"I first went to Corpus Chrisit back in 1989 for a world championships, it was windy back then and it was windy on my return visit with INtuition guests in March 2012. Spring time in Texas is hot and windy- whilst so much of the northern States remain frozen over. We sailed in board shorts or short wetsuits, bathed in glorious sunshine and windsurfed from the fantastic centre- World Winds, who took great care in looking after us all and ensuring the INtuition course was smooth and had the usual VIP service! The long weekend was so good for all the required features of an INtuition course that we've made it an annual venue. Please unleash the big Texan in you and haul ass south!"

SEA STATE
Totally flat water on the inside- perfect for gybing and INtuition skills.

SAILING AREA
Standing depth water everywhere- you are very rarely out of your depth so you can always walk back- making this venue very safe and confidence inspiring. Plenty of room on the water to gybe or feel safe flying out of control learning footstrapping!

WETSUITS
Board shorts, shorty or long legs if in the water all day.

RENTAL CENTRE
Worldwinds with RRD, Fanatic, Maui Sails and North Sails.

HOTEL
Plenty of 'condominium' hotels and apartments locally- although since the windsurfing is in a national park there is no accommodation on site.

TRANSFER TIME
Fly to Houston- 4 hours drive, to San Antonio 2.30 hours drive, to Corpus Christi 45 mins drive. Everyone needs car rental or share.

BEACH FACILITIES
Sunshades and great service.

WINDSURFING ALTERNATIVES
Rodeos.

OTHER STUFF
Guests travelled from all over north America to this fantastic venue, and a few of them extended their stay to enjoy there venue and put into practise everything they'd learned on the INtuition course.

TEMPERATURE
Perfect! Hot during the day, warm at night.

FILMING
Great place to shoot video and a good TV for replays!

MEALS
We ate fresh rattlesnake one night on the BBQ and ate fantastic food everyday. A great set up for INtuition.

DRINKS & NIGHTLIFE
Shooting pool with the locals, country and western music, ranch BBQs. It is not New York.
