2007 Bournemouth to Brighton
26 windsurfers left Bournemouth in a storm that was gusting 55knots to windsurf over 100 miles to Brighton. Only 3 people finished- Guy Cribb, Matt Wemms & John Skye who all featured on BBC news.
2008 Windsurfers vs Super Yacht
Two of the world’s fastest windsurfers Guy Cribb and Nik Baker took on one of the world’s fastest catamarans in a storm. The event proved too windy and dangerous for Nick Moloney’s BT Extreme 40 to safely compete, but he showed just how radical modern sailing has become. 2008 Bournemouth to Brighton

2008 Channel Crossing
Guy Cribb and the World Champion Antoine Albeau of France windsurfed from Cherbourg to Poole in a 30 knot storm and five metre high waves, raising nearly £11,000 for the Ellen MacArthur Trust charity and French counterpart A Chacun Son Cap. The event made international news and featured on National TV in the UK and France, published in Europe’s largest news weekly De Speigel, featured in almost every windsurfing magazine around the world, Britain’s national newspapers and all the major sailing websites worldwide. Providing some of the best windsurfing publicity for many years and enabling many children recovering from serious illness to regain their confidence through the Ellen MacArthur Trust. 2009 Sandbanks to Christchurch
Long distance dash for the masses- Guy organised this TWATS events (The Windsurfers Along The South) to include a long distance race, BBQ on the beach at the finish (Guy came in first and started cooking!) A lorry to carry everyone's gear back and a bus to transport everyone home. An outstanding day of windsurfing in the sun for TWATS!
2010 Racing
Guy Cribb makes a racing comeback after 15 year absence. Challenging himself in the three racing disciplines of Slalom, Long Distance and Longboard racing, Guy entered the British Championships and won all three events outright, beating all the current UK Champs. The British Slalom Champs were held in Wales in a variety of conditions over a weekend. Guy won 4 out of 6 races devastating the UK opposition and world tour sailors. The legendary Round Hayling Marathon is about a 20 mile circumnavigation that Guy held the record for a decade from 1993, and then won the event in 2010 by an unparalleled margin of 24 minutes, finishing in just over an hour. Finally Guy went back to windsurfings racing roots, jumping on modern Raceboard gear. As former vice world and european champion, it took no time to find his feet winning the second race and ultimately winning 5 out of 7 races over the weekend. Goes to show what knowledge the former multi times British Champion and National Racing Coach has stuffed inside his head! He also turned 40 in 2010, having retired from competition when he was 26 to become the national coach.
2010 Rage against the machine!
Windsurfers vs Extreme 40's- During the Extreme Sailing Series at Cowes Week International Regatta, Guy organised races agains the X40s. Held live in front of a 2000 spectators and aired on BBC TV, Guy Cribb, Ross Williams and John Skye raced against Nick Moloney on Team GAC Pindar. In four drag races Guy finished 2/2 with the X40s, Skyeboy lost 0/4 but Ross won 3/1- proving windsurfers to be the fastest sailors on the water (just!)
