"Northern hemisphere winter means southern hemisphere summer! I've travelled the west coast of Australia a few times now and it's always been epic. In 2012 I took an INtuition gang of Surf Gods up and down the west coast covering 5000kms and scoring some of the best waves on the planet, but it's the legendary 'Freemantle Doctor' sea breeze that kicks in almost daily in and around Perth that makes Western Australia so synonymous with windsurfing. Just south of Perth is a perfect lagoon area aptly known as Safety Bay, where I run my INtuition Freeride courses, practising all the moves on the beach in the morning before putting them into action in the afternoon. North of Perth are the perfect entry level wave sailing locations, still full of wind and smaller surf- Lancellin and Geraldton. I'll be hosting an event here to turn Freeride windsurfers into wave sailors, and wave sailors into Surf Gods!"

In 2012 we travelled with INtuition's resident cocktail maker AND an Aussie with a cordless Margarita mixer, so we had some fun evenings indeed.
